Sunday in Chicago
We all had brunch at a place not far from Betsy’s. The Forrester’s attended as well. We all crashed at Betsy’s afterwards and then headed for O’Hare. United is still a cheap, lousy airline. Saturday in Chicago
Cary and I along with Andrew, Pete and Betsy started the day with a Wendella boat cruise on the Chicago River. Boy have things changed. We went up the North Fork of the Chicago River, which when Cary and I lived in the City was very dead. Now lots of condos, although many are empty.…

Friday in Chicago – Andrew flys in.
We had such a great time with Clark and Suzanne we had a late start on Friday. Poor Pete had to work. We met Pete for lunch and then Betsy picked Cary & I up and we toured Hyde Park including the now Chicago Booth School of Business’s new campus. What a change for Chicago.…

Chicago Trip Thursday Evening July 30th

Gatlinburg, TN
I went down to Gatlinburg, TN and the Smokey Mountains with my friends from Cincinnati. We rented a secluded cabin for cheap and had a great time. We also went on a hike. Here are some of the pictures. If you click each picture there is a brief description.

Brimfield again

Maine
Cary and I spent 2 days on the mid-coast of Maine. Cary spent most of the time antiquing as usual. Tuesday was muggy and overcast, but Wednesday was gorgeous as you can see from the two pictures below.

Cary is at Shelton Field in Brimfield May 11th through 14th selling antiques.
Cary set up for Brimfield today with her friend Melissa Cox. They are located in the back of Shelton Field (B58 & B59), the third field on the North side of Route 20 when headed west. Cary’s antiques are always available for sale at Thoreauly Antiques in Concord, Massachusetts.
