Woke up early, so I thought I would add more thoughts.

It is hard to describe Inner Mongolia. The town we are staying in is actually pretty big. People milling about the streets everywhere. Buildings are all very colorful–red, white, blue, yellow. We are all getting stared at a lot–much more than Beijing. Annie and Deb are being stopped in the street and being asked to have their picture taken with random people. Lots of the local food being sold right on the street–blueberries, hawthorne berry, sweet potatoes.

Our hotel is OK at best, but the best in town. The beds are hard as rock.

Forgot to mention that yesterday at the wedding, Andrew, Peter and Tom were the groomsmen and Adam was in charge of the rings. Typical for Jimmy to ask at the last minute. Tom and Annie seem to be having a really great time and are great company. Tom wants to try EVERYTHING from the food to the exploring. Tom seems to have gotten to know the local man at the market who sells the wolf furs pretty well!

It seems like we eat something every couple of hours and SO much food served at every meal. Jiao Jiao says it is better that a lot of food is left after a meal–then the host knows you have had enough to eat.
